    FROM THE OPERATING PRACTICE

    Make the weekly review useful.

Inspect working software against the actual workflow, then decide what happens next.

How do we decide whether the work is ready for the next step?

Illustrative: an extraction works on ordinary files but fails on a scanned statement. Inspect that failure, assign the recovery path and decide whether to revise the scope. A successful screen recording alone is not acceptance.

    01

    Show the work.

Run a representative case. Inspect inputs, outputs and the evidence behind any important decision.

    02

    Review exceptions.

Identify what failed, what needed manual work and what cannot yet be automated safely.

    03

    Make a decision.

Accept the work, request a specific revision or change the priority. Give the next action an owner.

    04

    Keep the backlog honest.

Separate current commitments from new requests. Agree the next month’s priorities rather than silently expanding scope.

    Copy this review checklist

    • Run an ordinary case and an exception
    • Compare the agreed baseline
    • Inspect source evidence and permissions
    • Record accept, revise or stop
    • Name the next owner and due date

YOUR NEXT MONTH COULD LOOK DIFFERENT

    Bring the work
    you wish was done.

We’ll work out what to automate, what to keep human,
    and where to start.
